Dreams do come true
For those of you who don’t know, I dropped off one of my twins, Faith at college this weekend. The other one, Hope, checks in on Thursday. So anyway, as sad as this was for me to leave her, she was so excited. This is a dream come true for her. There is a powerful lesson, you can learn from this.
For one, she remembered college was her dream, she never forgot about it. When everyone else was out hanging out, she was home preparing for her dream. Sometimes we forget about our dreams. You can’t let anything get in the way from getting to that dream.
She prayed and prayed hard over her dream, pray without ceasing. Faith has dreamed about going to college ever since she was a little girl. Pray and pray hard over your dream.
Faith had a plan and stuck to it. She planned everything out to where all I had to do was drop her off and pay the tuition. You have to have a plan and put it on paper, you always hear me say that.
She never stopped working hard for her dream. When her friends were out hanging out, my baby would be home working towards her dream. You’ve got to work hard, show up and be consistent.
Finally, she had faith, never doubted her dream wouldn’t come true. You have to have faith, believe and never give up.
Bottom line is, if a kid can do it so can you. She stayed the course and didn’t give up. No matter what life brings you, you can’t give up on your dreams. I couldn’t be more proud of both of them.
